* Additional readings may be assigned throughout the semester. WG stands for The Wadsworth Guide to Research. Numbers refer to chapters.
** Each research journal assignment is due by midnight on the last day of the week, which will be on a Monday.
*** Be sure to read all the pages in each unit; to find them, move your cursor over the tab for that unit and then click on the link to the page. There are two tabs labeled "Unit 5"; read the unit on searching databases not evaluating sources.
**** The final APA-style paper is due by noon on Thurs., Dec. 10. It must be submitted to the instructor personally or to her mailbox in the English Department on the fourth floor of the King Center. The paper will not be accepted late or via e-mail. During finals week, the instructor will be in her office (KC 409) from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 8, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 10.
